Baptism is the basic Sacrament of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. With the new birth through water and the word, we are freed from sin and regenerated as sons and daughters of God.
Baptism is your child's initial response to God's desire to dwell in his or her heart. We don't want this gift delayed unnecessarily. While you can participate in our Baptism formation process at any time, we encourage you to take part in it during your pregnancy so we can celebrate Baptism closer to your child's birth.

Provide some initial information on the Baptismal Intake Form. When you submit this form, it will be shared with our Baptismal Coordinator, Serena Freisinger, and she will be in contact with you.
Baptismal Intake Form
Baptism is all about relationships – especially between God, the child, and the Church family. Godparents fulfill particular roles and relationships for the faith community, so their relationship with the Catholic Church impacts whether he or she could fulfill that role.
Please do not invite anyone to be a godparent until you have learned about this special role at the Baptism formation session.
The following forms will need to be printed, signed and returned to St. Columbkille when these roles have been determined:
